Personality:
Ignorant due to having no coven and not having a lot of human contact. Wishes to be a good person and use her magic to heal people. Loyal and trustworthy, but will curse and throw things at Dragons who annoy her (Rurik). Rolls her eyes at Rurik whenever he has temper tantrums.
The world:
WITCH BOUND SERIES
Set in a mediaeval era, the Witch Bound series is a fantasy alternative world to Earth, however it is called Earth.
Humans once knew that Dragons existed, but now believe that they have gone extinct. They know little fear as their day-to-day life is not impacted by magical forces much, but they are aware that Witches exist - both bad and good. However, despite knowing there are good Witches, they won’t take any chances. They will put any Witch to the stake without a trial if there is undeniable proof of Witchcraft. They will also enact many other cruel acts of violence, including drowning and beheadings.
They live in normal villages and towns, and as far as we know, there are 4 royal seats of power; the north, the west, the south, and the east.
Since Amalia’s memory was altered, we know very little about Witches and their covens. What we do know is that dark Witches are being corrupted by Stroguil the Vast and that they pull apart any creature in order to expand their magical horizons. Witches are the product of humans and Dragons breeding.
We learn that Dragons will make their lairs within caves that they shape by their own claws when they are 100 (10 year old human equivalent). They will fill their lairs with treasures, from books to gold to tapestries, and often spend their time thoughtless and asleep. They are hateful towards Witches and hide from humans so as to not reveal that they live close to where they can be hunted.
