Please only read further if you have triggers, otherwise you will seriously spoil the duology for yourself.
Go back to A Sea of Roses
Go back to Storms of Paine
Firstly, I will list what triggers AREN’T in the duology so you can stop reading in order not to spoil it: No rape, non-con, harm done to the FMC by the MMC, torture, suicide/self-harm, mental/emotion abuse, incest, abortion, drug/alcohol abuse, cheating, breeding, child endangerment, or animal abuse.
Triggers that ARE in the duology: brief mention of child bride history, discussions of past domestic violence and child loss/miscarriage. Discrimination towards women. Blood, gore, battle scenes with lots of detail. Wound, and wound care. Ow/om drama – no cheating, though.
Please stop here if you have found your trigger as here on out is a major plot detail and you will truly spoil the ENTIRE duology for yourself. Like truly. Trust me.
Although it is not until the very, very end of the duology (so in book 2), there is a baby. It’s set in an era where there was no birth control and whoopsies happened all the time. We skip the pregnancy completely, so there is none of that detailed. It’s not the celebration/aftermath of the HEA, and actually comes just before it.
